Hey there!  My name is Angela and I love being by the water.  

The ocean, sea, lake all seem to be calming to me.  It does not matter if it is the North Sea in Scotland, beaches of New Jersey, the Florida coast or the California coast; I love them all. One of the craft hobbies I picked up from the water is sea glass. I make necklaces and earrings from them and I find the history of sea glass fascinating,  Most of the sea glass I have is from the East Coast of New Jersey and Scotland. Have a "wee nosey" in my store to see if there are any treasures you may want.  If you have any questions you can always contact me and I would be happy to answer you.

About My Shop

The nautical in me - In my store you will find some nautical inspired creations.  So it should not be surprising to learn one of my favorite movies is "Overboard"!  The cry of seagulls is like singing to me. Hearing the pounding of the waves I feel the power of the Ocean. It does not matter if the beach is sandy or rocky there is beauty in it all.  I don't even need to be there to carry the feeling with me.  Just a sound can take you there as well as playing some Jimmy Buffet or Beach Boys.

Scotland

My roots are in Scotland.  I love that country, it is beautiful and magical.   And yes it rains a lot but you get use to it.  Look for some of my creations in the near future with a Scottish Theme.  If you have never been to Scotland I would put it on your to do list.  Having lived in the Fife area, I can tell you there are great beaches, countryside, and castles abound.  One of my favorite areas is Lower Largo.

It's a town time has forgotten and it reminds me of Doc Martin for those of you who have watched the series.  Go into a pub and you may hear one of the locals tell the tale of the Treasure of  Largo Law.  Google it.  The Scots are a friendly bunch and great story tellers. 

Of course Fife is famous for the home of golf; St. Andrews.  The towns and cities are full of fascinating history.  See the standing stanes, take a train ride to the highlands; there is so much to see.  And if you are an "Outlander" fan, you can go to some of the film locations.  There has been quite a lot of filming done in Scotland; Local Hero, Skyfall, Chariots of Fire to name a few.

Food and Fun; who doesn't like that.  I like to cook and share fun ideas and recipes.  I enjoy dining out and going to different places.  So you may see some food and wine ideas in my creations.  Soon I will be posting a beaded bottle stopper I have created, so check out the store page.  Treat yourself to one or to give to someone as a gift.  Bring them a bottle of wine with a bottle stopper that has a little bling.  Once the wine is finished the bottle stopper can be used over and over again and makes a nice adornment on the table.
